Celebrity weddings are a great source of inspiration when planning your own nuptials. And 2011 did not disappoint! It has been a stellar year for inspiration with many high-profile couples tying the knot.
It is nice to see that even famous brides are incorporating their own personal style and touches. So which bride’s wedding style most resembles you?
Kate Moss – Vintage
Kate described her wedding vision as “rock n roll meets the Great Gatsby.” This wedding looks utterly gorgeous with so many vintage touches. What could be more vintage then the quaint and charming church where Kate and her hubby tied the knot? Not to mention the flower headdresses and the apparent Victorian chandeliers, and last but not least her John Galliano dress inspired by Zelda Fitzgerald.
Vanessa Minnillo – Destination
Vanessa’s intimate tropical destination wedding took beach chic to a whole other level. Although the nuptials took place on Necker Island over looking the ocean, this was no casual beach affair. Vanessa did the perfect job creating a relaxed atmosphere with an uber chic flare. The ceremony was full of colour, while the reception that followed had more of a formal, romantic feel. My favourite detail was the table runners which adorned the guest’s name and sat in place of traditional seating cards.
Dylan Lauren – Whimsical Wonderland
Dylan did an amazing job combining her personal style into her wedding. Her Willy Wanka inspired affair had everything from couture confections like giant lollipop topiaries and gummy bear martinis to festive candy blinged out attire worn by the waiters. This just goes to show the realm of possibilities when you incorporate your passion in life into your wedding vision. Oh and an insanely large budget doesn’t hurt.

Kim Kardashian – Modern Glam
Although only a few photos have been released of this lavish celebration, Kim’s black and white vision screams modern glam. It was said to be one of the most extravagant weddings of the year. The reception tent was decked out in chandeliers, black and white linens, sleek black charger plates and white floral arrangements. Visit E! online for a sneak peek.
Stay tuned for Kim’s wedding special set to air on E! October 9th and 10th.
