Dear fellow readers,
It’s been just over three months since we started our blog (wow – time flies), so today I wanted to take a second to say thanks to those of you who have been faithfully reading our posts. Hearing your comments and feedback really makes this all worthwhile – so thank you all very much for spending your time with us!! Now that you know us a little better, I thought it would be a good time to introduce you to the girls of Gush, how we got started, and why we do what we do.
Gush was born out of a love and passion for all things wedding and event related. We are a dynamic duo of two very hard working, trustworthy and extremely organized individuals who just happen to have a real knack for planning. We are a one-of-a-kind team, each bringing our own unique talents to the table. We have been the best of friends for over 16 years now, and to say that we have fun is an understatement!
We specialize in planning and executing weddings and events that are cutting-edge, stylish, original and personalized to each and every client. We take our love for fashion, food, architecture and pop culture and combine it with our clients personal style to create a gush-worthy wedding or event that will not only be meaningful but more importantly, memorable.
We are proud alumni of the WPIC (Wedding Planners Institute of Canada). We uphold a strong moral standing in terms of our business and honourably follow the WPIC code of ethics:
•We do not accept kickbacks (money for referrals) from vendors. Vendors must know that the clients are the recipients of any discounts given.
•We treat each client fairly, and we will be honest and upfront in the representation of our clients.
•We uphold our ethics. We will not take or attempt to take clients from, or discredit, other vendors with gossip or slander.
•Every client will receive a detailed contract for Wedding Day Direction or Full Wedding Coordination services.
•We will provide all services agreed upon in the contract that must be signed by both the client and Coordinator at the commencement of service.
•We believe in continuous education, networking and training within the Wedding Industry.
•Our pricing is upfront and industry comparable.
•We will make every effort to return calls and emails in a timely manner. (Within 48 hrs.)
•We always endeavour to benefit our client and not ourselves. Vendors are suggested on merit, in the best interests of the client, not ourselves or the vendor suggested.
•We can not guarantee your wedding will be perfect, but we can guarantee we will do everything within our power to make sure it is as close to perfection as it can be.
We plan with a vision of creating our individual clients’ ideal wedding or event. In other words, we strive to make dreams come true! We treasure being apart of these momentous occasions and consider ourselves extremely lucky to be included in these celebrations – we love our job!
